This local spot is an absolute favorite! The food is unbelievably good—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. (And such a good deal!) The staff are always so warm and friendly, and the space is pristine, super spick and span. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, everything about this place hits the mark.

Fantastic hidden gem. I was driving by for the last couple of months. Last night, we finally stopped and tried it out. We ordered takeout which was fantastic. A lot of flavor, very fresh. It's a family operated business. Certainly a great new addition for Brookline. They also have 5 tables in case you want to eat directly there rather than having takeout.

Everything was great! We loved the grilled flavor on the kebab, the chicken was well seasoned and juicy, the hummus was spot on, the pitas were pillowy, and the chefs salad was delicious. It's our new go-to for Mediterranean.

We are so fortunate Za'tar is in our neighborhood, but I would drive across town for Mediterranean food this good. The dishes are fresh, varied, and beautifully seasoned. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. The owners are gracious and warm. One feels great supporting this family-owned business & you get a fantastic meal out of it!
